This specification covers three types of deicing/anti-icing material, each in the form of a non-Newtonian fluid.

Rationale:
This specification has been revised to incorporate the following revisions: clarification of several test methods including the Physical Properties (3.2), Thin Film Thermal Stability (3.2.2.5), and Multiple Location Certification (4.4.3), as well as the Application (1.2). The Appearance (3.1.3) has also been revised to state fluids must be colored according to table 1.
