NBN EN 13244-1:2003

This Part of EN 13244 specifies the general aspects of polyethylene (PE) piping systems in the field of buried and above ground pressure systems for water for general purposes, drainage and sewerage. It also specifies the test parameters for the test methods referred to in this standard. In conjunction with other Parts of EN 13244 it is applicable to PE pipes, fittings, valves, their joints and to joints with components of non plastics materials intended to be used under the following conditions: a) buried in the ground, sea outfalls, laid in water and above ground including pipes suspended below bridges.
