Summary
This Code is applicable to the facilities, technical matters, and inspections of polymer
electrolyte membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs), which uses hydrogen as fuel and of which the rated output
voltage is DC 220V or below, installed in unmanned aerial vehicles (hereinafter referred to as “drones”)
falling under Article 5 subparagraph 5 (a) of the Enforcement Rule of the Aviation Safety Act from
among fuel cells falling under Article 2 (3) 1 (B) of the Enforcement Rule of the Hydrogen Economy
Promotion and Hydrogen Safety Management Act (hereinafter referred to as the “Enforcement Rule”).
