IEC 60034-5:2000+AMD1:2006 Consolidated

Gives definitions for standard degrees of protection provided by enclosures; protection of machines against harmful effects due to the ingress of water; protection of machines against ingress of solid foreign objects; protection of persons against contact with or approach to live parts and against contact with moving parts. Gives designations for these protective degrees and tests to verify that the machines meet the requirements. The contents of the corrigendum of June 2001 have been included in this copy. This consolidated version consists of the fourth edition (2000) and its amendment 1 (2006). Therefore, no need to order amendment in addition to this publication.
