Preface This is the first edition of CSA TS-804.2, Electric vehicle infrastructure uptime guidance — Reporting. This Technical Specification (referred to as "this Document" from here on) is not a consensus product; that is, it is not a Standard and it has not been formally reviewed or approved by a CSA Technical Committee. This Document contains reporting guidance for uptime during operation. It is intended to be used with CSA TS-804.1, which explains the overview and background of uptime. CSA Group acknowledges that the development of this Document was made possible, in part, by the financial support of Natural Resources Canada. This Document was prepared by the EV Infrastructure Reliability Working Group. Scope 1.1 Inclusions This Document, which provides the uptime data reporting parameters, applies to all electric vehicle chargers installed in public places. 1.2 Terminology This Document contains no requirements. In this Document, "should" is used to express a recommendation or that which is advised but not required, and "may" is used to express an option or that which is permissible within the limits of the Document.
