CSA Preface This is the first edition of CAN/CSA-ISO 50015, Energy management systems - Measurement and verification of energy performance of organizations - General principles and guidance , which is an adoption without modification of the identically titled ISO (International Organization for Standardization) Standard 50015 (first edition, 2014-12-15). This International Standard establishes general principles and guidelines for the process of measurement and verification (M andV) of energy performance of an organization or its components. This International Standard can be used independently, or in conjunction with other standards or protocols, and can be applied to all types of energy. This Standard has been developed in compliance with Standards Council of Canada requirements for National Standards of Canada. It has been published as a National Standard of Canada by CSA Group. Scope This International Standard establishes general principles and guidelines for the process of measurement and verification (M and V) of energy performance of an organization or its components. This International Standard can be used independently, or in conjunction with other standards or protocols, and can be applied to all types of energy.
