Amendment Standard - Active.
This amendment to IEEE Std 802.3-2022 specifies additions to and appropriate modifications of the IEEE Std 802.3 MAC Merge sublayer and the Time Synchronization Service Interface (TSSI) to support 10 Mb/s Single-Pair Ethernet point to point PHYs. Specify additions to and appropriate modifications of the IEEE Std 802.3 MAC Merge function and the Time Synchronization Service Interface (TSSI) to support 10 Mb/s Single Pair Ethernet point to point PHYs. Extend IEEE Std 802.3 to add 10 Mb/s Single Pair Ethernet point to point PHYs to the PHYs supporting the MAC Merge function and the Time Synchronization Service Interface (TSSI).
