This Swedish Standard provides an assessment model for functional safety processes within the automotive industry supporting ISO 26262. ISO 26262 addresses possible hazards caused by malfunctioning behaviour of electrical and/or electronic (E/E) safety-related systems in road vehicles. Thus the scope of SS 7740 reflects the applied parts of ISO 26262.
