This recommendation deals with the dynamic characterization of the axial modulus of elasticity Ez under squeaky conditions in terms of frequency, amplitude and pressure.
This recommendation refers to samples cut from the finished brake pad. The standard can also be extended to complete coverings.
The aim is a general measurement method for determining the brake pad material parameters for the simulation of brake noise.
