Les nouveaux marchés de l'hydrogène

 

L’hydrogène représente aujourd’hui une des solutions énergétiques qui pourraient contribuer à la réduction de taux de carbone émis par des sources d’énergie plus polluantes. Ainsi l’hydrogène est, depuis quelques années, au cœur des débats en tant qu’alternative aux sources d’énergie actuelles.

 

C'est quoi l'hydrogène ?

 

L’hydrogène (H) est un gaz inflammable non toxique et non corrosif qui est très utilisé dans l’industrie depuis quelques années déjà. On peut le trouver dans l’eau et dans le gaz naturel. L’énergie contenu dans l’hydrogène est obtenue par On estime qu’il est vecteur d’énergie car après production, il peut être stocké transporté et utilisé. Ce procédé favorise une redistribution de l’énergie au moment voulu.

Pourquoi choisir l’hydrogène ?

Grâce aux progrès de la science et de la technologie, les procédés sont plus fiables. l’hydrogène peut aujourd'hui être produit par électrolyse de l’eau avec de l’électricité renouvelable ou sans carbone. On parle alors d’hydrogène décarboné car aucune émission de CO2 au cours de la production et de l’utilisation.

L’hydrogène est aujourd’hui valorisé comme carburant propre grâce à une pile qui à combustible alimentée par l’hydrogène au cours duquel le processus chimique rejette de l’eau. C’est comme cela que fonctionnent les véhicules équipés de piles à combustibles et permettant une mobilité sans émission de CO2.

La France comptera 225 stations de recharge d’hydrogène et 31 modèles de voiture à hydrogène d’ici 2025. Les constructeurs comme Hyundai, Honda et Toyota ont déjà chacun au moins un modèle de véhicule roulant à l’hydrogène en circulation.
