Détails

View Sample Alloy Digest Data Sheet (PDF) Since 1952, Alloy Digest has been the leading reference for materials property data on metals and alloys used throughout the world. Featuring graphs, charts and tables, these sheets give facts and figures on composition or characterization, physical and mechanical properties, heat treatment, and machinability.
Alloy 740H (see Alloy Digest Ni-613) is a precipitation-hardenable Ni-Cr-Co alloy containing molybdenum and niobium. The primary application for the alloy is boiler tubes for advanced ultra-supercritical steam boilers. This data sheet covers a modification of that alloy to correct two problems, i.e., the ?-phase formation with a loss of impact strength between 750?800 °C (1382?1472 °F) and to render the alloy more weldable.
