Details
The standard supports foundries by demonstrating technological approaches for cleaner production measures and assesses both the sub-steps as well as the overall process in foundries in detail. It allows the user to create a connection to operational management systems for quality, environmental protection and occupational safety. Thus, the standard helps to create a continuous improvement process in the company. The standard is aimed primarily at practitioners from small and medium enterprises, which also require a methodological tool in addition to information. For modernising or designing systems and production processes, they can call upon the findings and draw from experiences with PIUS to optimise the quality, reduce costs and protect the environment.
