Details
The method describes the execution of the bending test of elastomeric hoses in the cold.
The procedure may be used to:
To carry out suitability tests on various elastomers eligible for such an application (quality determination)
Carry out comparative tests on different delivery batches of a certain elastomer quality (quality assurance)
The tests shall preferably be carried out on the test specimen described in section 3.1.
Test comparisons can only be made on similar test specimens.
A period of at least 16 h and a maximum of 6 months should be between the vulcanisation of the sample and the examination.
