VDI

Verein Deutscher Ingenieure (VDI) is an organization of more than 150,000 engineers and natural scientists. Over 12,000 honorary experts annually process the latest findings to promote the technology location. Founded in 1856, VDI is today the largest association of engineers in Western Europe. The role of VDI in Germany is comparable to that of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) in the United States or Engineers Australia (EA) in Australia, with the exception of the broader scope of work of VDI. VDI is not a union. The association promotes the advancement of technology and represents the interests of engineers and engineering companies in Germany
