This Code applies to the selection, installation and inspection of electric equipment with explosion- proof performance (hereinafter referred to as “explosion-proof electric equipment”) performed to prevent electric equipment installed in a hazardous place of gas facilities governed by the 「High Pressure Gas Safety Management Act」 (hereinafter referred to as the "High Act"), the 「Safety Management and Business Act of Liquefied Petroleum Gas」 (hereinafter referred to as the "Liquid Act") and the 「Urban Gas Business Act」 (hereinafter referred to as the "Urban Act") from becoming the ignition source of the leaked gas.
