Details
This technical report is intended to establish a common methodology so that SCSI systems may be
modeled and simulated accurately and consistently. It establishes the requirements for the exchange of
performance information between components suppliers and system simulators. It defines the acceptable
methods for extracting the electrical and performance attributes of the constituent parts of the SCSI
parallel interface. It establishes a common methodology for simulating the SCSI physical environment. It is
intended to be used in conjunction with the requirements within the T10 SCSI Parallel Interface (SPI-x)
family of standards.
