This part of multipart standard IEC 61980, (in a first step as TS for three-year period) together with Part 1, and further Part 3 applies to communication between electric road vehicle (EV) and infrastructure with respect to wireless power transfer (WPT) systems with an a.c. supply input voltages up to 1000 V. Annexes A, B, etc. will contain dedicated descriptions of the command/control and communications for WPT systems.
