This standard contains the German version of the European Standard EN 50647 with requirements related to the assessment of the exposure of workers to electric and magnetic fields from equipment and installations which serve for the production, transmission and distribution of electrical energy. Hereto the frequency range from 0 Hz to 20 kHz is covered. Live line working is also addressed. The requirements serve for the demonstration that the exposure limits and action levels of the European Directive 2013/53/EU are fulfilled. Hereto the assessment methods are specified in this standard: simplified methods and further considerations if the simplified methods are not sufficient to show the fulfilling of the exposure limits or action levels. Measurement and numerical calculation methods for the evaluation of the exposure are also specified.
