The document specifies general requirements for test bodies dealing with verification and subsequent verification according to DIN 11868-1 and DIN 11868-2. These tests base on basic requirements of DIN EN 45011 and MilchGüV (§ 2(9)) and should ensure the use of suitable and operatively facilities by drawing of samples for milk quality testing. Through executive regulations, administrative rules or orders issued by the federal states testing laboratories can be recognized for these tests as far as this recognition does not be part of the obligatory prescribed approval of the test bodies for milk quality testing. If this test bodies let accredit as certification bodies according to EN 45011 or as inspection bodies according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17020, the elements of this guideline may be used for preparation of the quality manual of these certification bodies or inspection bodies, respectively.
