What is the EN 13445 standard ?

 

The EN 13445 standard sets the design rules for manufacture and verification of pressure equipment. It provides a means of meeting the essential safety requirements of Directive 2014/68 / EC Pressure equipment (PED). By the publication of its reference in the Journal Official of the European Union, it gives presumption of conformity with the requirements safety essentials identified in appendix ZA of each part. EN 13445 is an essential document in the field of equipment under pressure.
